A quick note from the charming Fairview Hotel (built in the 1930’s). The hour is late and tomorrow morning is an early start as we begin our adventure with a few days on safari. We will be out of internet range during that time so you can anticipate a break from Kari’s words and look forward to the posts following our safari to be mainly in the form of Malcolm’s favorite expression: images and video.
I want to let you know how touched we have been to receive your thoughtful and loving comments. I haven’t had the time to respond to them individually but please know that I am savoring and treasuring what you write and feeling a genuine sense of community during this journey.
You are loved. Thank you for coming with us.
What a wonderful adventure!! Hmmm I wonder if that is the right word to describe what you are doing. Sophia calls anything we do that is different an adventure, I think it is terrific she looks at things like that. Going to a book store in the busy business district of town to get a book I was looking for, and in turn finding her a wonderful “How to be a princess” book on sale, was an adventure to her. What your doing is much more than that…well, whatever it is for you it is so totally amazing. I am excited to hear more.
Be safe,Big Hugs xx Therese
Ah, you’re there, you’re there! I think about you and Malc often throughout the day. Who would have imagined that one of the most extremely raw experiences connected with this journey would happen before you even left Montana? Healing thoughts are being sent to the woman you helped rescue, and to you and everyone else involved, as I can only imagine how this may touch and effect you, too.
As much as it’s wonderful to read everything you’re so beautifully writing, I can’t wait to see you when you get back, and hear your stories in person!
I’m sooo delighted to be following your blogs. I see you right in front of me, and I know I’m soon to revisit the Africa I fell in love with so many years ago. Enjoy! Learn! Love! Keep letting go…and come back to tell us all about it!
