Re-creating relatedness: a meta shift
How do we relate to ourselves as the problems and also to ourselves as the solution? — Karen O’Brien
There is a thinking pattern shift underway. From individual to collective.
How can we assist this?
Call your spirit back.
Joy Harjo
Have you noticed, I have, we are re-creating relatedness?
We are re-creating our connected states of mind. Our thinking patterns in which we recognize we are related and entangled with all things.
It is meta shift. Our narrative is changing from:
- Competition will solve everything
- There is no such thing as society
- For every problem, there is a solution
To:
- Co-opetition, we collaborate and co-create as well as compete
- Influential, we are part of and swayed by everyone around us. Plus, you-I-we inspire societies and the norms associated with them.
- Both-and, some things are problems to be managed, polarities and/or impossible questions.
For example, climate change—we are in relationship with:
- Food, it’s production, our consumption and our desires.
- Our world around us. We are creating the climate crises as well as we are the catalysts for thriving though it.
- Personal and psychological reponses including trauma, inherited pain and collective memory.
- Time, influenced and influential on much that’s gone before us and will come.
